Online fitness coaching for people in the Riverside–San Bernardino–Ontario area
The Inland Empire covers Riverside and San Bernardino counties east of Los Angeles, with the longest mean commute and the lowest work-from-home share of the sixteen metro pages on this site, and nearly three in ten adults reporting no exercise in the survey. Diogo is based in South Florida and coaches online. The Inland Empire is on Pacific time, three hours behind me, so the call usually lands in your early evening or my early morning.

How coaching works from a distance
Diogo is based in South Florida and coaches online. Your workouts live in the Trainerize app, you weigh in twice a week, you send progress photos every two weeks, and we talk on a weekly call scheduled around your time zone. Between calls, you can message me with questions.
My long commute takes the evening. When can I train?
Before the drive, on the weekend, and in short sessions at home. A mean commute over half an hour each way, with fewer people working from home than on any other metro page on this site, means most weeks here have the training squeezed into whatever the drive leaves. So the plan does not count on the evening: one session moves to the morning, one goes to the weekend, and a third is a short home session of four movements that still counts. Two sessions in a hard week are a week that kept going. The weekly call is where we move them when the schedule changes.
Nearly three in ten adults here report no exercise. Where would I begin?
With the smallest week that still counts. The survey figures above say nearly three in ten adults here reported no physical activity in the past month, and just over a third lift twice a week. If that describes you, the first month is two sessions a week of five or six movements, weights light enough to learn each one, and a daily walk with a floor low enough to keep. In the hot months the walk goes to early morning or after dark. The point of the first month is not how hard it is; it is that the second month starts.
